Welcome To MomVesting!

Welcome to MomVesting! Around here, we believe that knowledge is power -- and that applies 100% to women managing their finances.

It doesn't matter what stage of life you're in -- whether you're still in school and figuring out how to pay off your student loans, single and climbing your career ladder, starting off in family life and combining finances for the first time, well on your way with a family in tow, or considering retirement -- taking control of your future by learning the financial ropes is absolutely a possibility (and, these days, pretty essential) for you!

What we're about
While a lot of "finance and investing" websites are written from a male perspective, we wanted to create a place focused on the unique issues women face when it comes to planning their financial future -- either alone or with a family. Some of the biggest sources of stress for us today are financial issues, but they don't have to be. With a little knowledge and a helpful community here, you can take charge and achieve some of your wildest financial dreams -- getting out of debt, buying your dream home, sending your kids to the best schools, or even traveling the world.

Who we are
MomVesting is written by a collection of women just like you -- who happen to know a thing or two about money, finance, and investing. By addressing everything from basic definitions and money-management topics to advanced investing concepts, we'll share the tips that helped us get "over the hump" of learning about finance and arm you so that you can make sense of a seemingly nonsensical world.

Many finance writers seem to forget that there are people out there who may not want to be day-traders, but still need to know what makes sense to do with their retirement accounts. If you're looking to find a comfortable confidence in your finances, we'll help you get there.

We do need a PF blog about investing from women's point of view. I am glad I found you. :-)

I love finding other personal finance sites authored by women. I think we do bring a different perspective to the discussion.
